My name is Augsutus Vranken and I currently live in Amsterdam, Eu. I have been here since August 24, 2009. Since living here and working as a barber (here it’s called kapper)and coming from the U.S, makes me stand from the average barber in Amsterdam. I have done allot of hair styles and art that reflect my experience as a barber in the U.S. I live in Philadelphia, P.A where I worked at ESPM Hair Zone located at 60^th and Girard Av.

I have learned allot of interesting things about the society and culture. Even though Amsterdam is small, compared to the U.S, it does have a very diverse society ranging from cultures not just found in Europe but other cultures from south America and Africa. Due to the current economic problems affecting almost all the countries in the Eu, there are many Europeans moving into the Netherlands, via Amsterdam. If you can imagine this then you will be able to see that you end up with a pool of a growing mixture of cultures.

With such a mixture accruing I am able to see the influences of the diversity of fashion and art styles expressed by these individuals. In Europe the English, Italian and French seem to be on the top list of fashion styles and clothing lines. In my blog I will be covering my views and opinions on the fashion and art styles in Eu and provide my viewers with photos and links to sites where viewers of my blog can purchase affordable fashionable brands; on the other hand offer viewers links and photos of the different European artists that I meat and their styles.

On my blog I will introduce the different fashion brands, designers, stylist, artist and their styles that I come across in Europe (starting the Netherlands, Amsterdam).
